We are very pleased to announce that the University of Calgary will be hosting the 13th Annual Critical Geographies Conference on Saturday, September 29th, with support from  the Department of Geography, the Faculty of Arts, the Graduate Collage, and the Office of the Vice-President (Research).

Support for this conference was further provided by the Graduate Student Association , The Urban Research Network, and the Latin American Research Centre; affiliates of the University of Calgary.

The conference will be held on traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy. The city of Calgary is also the home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III and we will work towards inclusion of non-academic knowledges.
